Hello, I am a Licensed Nutritionist in DC and I work at Restorative Health, an integrative medical practice in. I hold an MS degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health. I believe that the body has an amazing ability to self-heal if we give it the right conditions. And good food is one of those conditions! Food can be nourishing and it can provide all that we need for optimal health. Food can also be medicine if we are not in optimal health. However, a lot of the food that is out there can be really bad for us and navigating our complicated food supply can be very confusing and difficult. I can help you figure out what foods are good for you and which ones are not.
I view each client as unique
As a nutritionist I will work with you individually, taking into account your unique health history, needs, eating habits, likes and dislikes. Then, we’ll set goals that you are willing to work on and agree on steps to take that will work in your life. When I make a suggestion I always explain why because I believe that you need to understand how what I’m recommending is going to help your body. Also, I encourage your feedback. Are you willing to make these changes, or should we find a different approach? This way, at the end of a consultation, we come up with a program tailor-made just for you.
What I stand for as nutritionist
First, I belief that unprocessed food is the best nourishment for your body. I offer you plenty of recipes which combine my extensive knowledge of nutritional science with my passion for cooking. I believe that we are what we eat, and what we eat can be delicious as well as nutritious. Therefore, it is my hope to bring you back to your kitchen and make cooking a fun and fulfilling process. In addition, I can help you lose weight without hunger or exercise. No calorie counting either!
These are the most common health issues I help people with

“Olga took a holistic look at my lifestyle and health indicators to determine the root causes of some health symptoms. She helped me realize the problems with my diet and suggested some tweaks. She also explained the physiological reasons for how our body’s react to food. This really sunk in and helped me understand my reactions to certain foods and how to avoid pitfalls of habits. Her approach was very matter of fact and interactive, while engaging and friendly. Highly recommend.”
I should open by saying Olga helped me lose forty pounds. My blood sugar, which was borderline diabetes, and blood pressure, which was borderline hypertension, are both now within normal range with no meds. I can’t recommend Olga more highly.
I have seen Olga for nutrition assistance to lower my hemoglobin A1c and also took the Restart class with her. It has been a wakeup call for me and changed my eating habits for the better. I continue to implement the lessons learned during the course and feel great as a result.
