Dinner recipes – one pot, hand off, cooking party

I have a number of dinner recipes here for you that are one pot meal. I love the practicality of these dishes. And you can create some very intricate flavor interactions when you combine meats and vegetables together.

Another approach to dinner recipes that I often use is “hand off” cooking. This mean that you have a fairly short prep and then the dish is cooking itself either in the oven or on the cook top. The key is that your hand are free to make a side dish or a salad to accompany it.

I also have a couple of labor intensive dinner recipes form home. Recipes I learned from my grandmother. Seems like, back in the day people were okay with spending more time in the kitchen. I called these recipes Cooking Parties because making them can be a party.

When you do have some time you can cook and hang out with people you love. When I was younger we had many dinner parties that we would start preparing the night before. We had a friend who came over and spent the night and the whole following day cooking with us. And then in the evening a bunch more friends came we had a feast and a blast!
